Kinesiology Introduction Session
Service Description
At Coastal calm kinesiology, I use muscle testing to access biofeedback from your body. This is done by testing a range of different muscles, (or depending on what kind of session you have, just one indicator muscle may be used) to see the response we get from them in relation to the context of your session. Kinesiology sessions are held in my downstairs clinic, it’s a relaxing, calm space with a stunning view of the beach! During a consultation, we first discuss your client intake form (completed when you make your booking), what's going on for you in your life, and any areas that you may need support with or want to work on. From this discussion, we decide what kind of kinesiology balance will best suit your needs. Often we set goals or affirmations around your balance to give it meaning and context. There are many different techniques and tools that can be used during a balance, ranging from accessing acupressure points, neuro lymphatic and neuro vascular points on the body, using harmony or aromatherapy oils, tuning forks/sound bowls, flower essences as well as chakra sprays to help balance the bodies meridian and energy systems. Balances are completed with you fully clothed and either lying or sitting on the massage table. After you have experienced an initial balance, we can decide on what might be best for a follow up session. You are also welcome to have a session with a focus on a particular balance that you enjoy, such as a soul power balance, a 14 or 42 muscle balance, emotions code balance, flower essence or tuning fork balance. My initial kinesiology sessions often use a mixture of techniques from all these balances!
